Seems like the kid said something to the old man, cause the old man was talking about an offer or something. Maybe the kid was sellin drugs and old man wanted some. Either way, immediately the kid transformed into an asshole to the point he had to go slap the old guy. Serves him right, that man IS a motherfucker.

Upon watching it again, the kid said he'd spit shine the old man's shoes it seems like. Either that or that's what the old man thought he said. Obviously the kid was looking to pick a racial fight and instead got bloodied up for being a jackass.
