Let us all abide by this new logic of reasoning and apply it to everything we do, hm? So tight pants "ruined" some extreme sports? The last time I remember people being so judgemental of what others wore was in middle school. How does clothing possibly detract from what someone loves or what they are doing in itself? 

It's called a trend, and if you don't like it then you don't have to participate. But if everyone dressed according to what some of you approved of we'd have a bunch of clones walking around. So accept people for what they wear and accept differences, especially if it's something as trivial as PANTS.

Instead, we have walking clones with tight pants. I don't care what you wear, but when trends end up putting functionality and comfortability on the backburner, which they usually do, I tend to laugh at said trend. When someone says, "Don't wear tight pants, it sucks." They don't mean, "ADHERE TO MY DRESS CODE!!!! WEAR ONLY WHAT I WEAR!!! RARRR!" it means stop wearing tight pants and put on something else, you look stupid. I'd hate to look back on pictures of my youth going "Oh God we really did dress like that back then." That's meant for pictures from middle school, not when you're 23.
